6 pays countries are involved in this project: the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Cameroon, Congo Brazzaville and Equatorial Guinea.

This large area is made up of:

  • 96 million inhabitants
  • 227 million hectares of forests
  • More than 400 species of mammals
  • More than 1,000 species of birds
  • 1,000 plant species
